I set up my web site , The Missing Persons Issue Ireland ,in November 1999 and since then I have been shocked at the attitude taken by the majority of Irish politicians regarding the matter of Irish missing people.
The truth is, the majority of Irish politicians turn off at the mention of missing persons. It seems , to speak the words "Irish missing persons" , is almost as if one has used bad language , to bring up the "that which must no be spoken" topic, an untouchable subject , as if it was a skeleton which the family was ashamed of.
One has to ask oneself why this is!
Why has this situation developed amongst Irish politicians!
However , through bitter experience and much hard work , I can safely say that Irish politicians are not the only social grouping which holds to this approach regarding missing persons. Indeed , the majority of Dublin based broadsheet and tabloid newspapers shy away from awkward questions surrounding the Irish missing!
One of the issues of Irish missing persons is , the actual number of missing persons in Ireland! Yet no Dublin newspaper has ever published the actual figures for Irish missing people!
Yes, not one!
The only Irish newspaper to publish figures for the Irish missing was the Kilkenny People , way back in 1998 when they declared that there were over 89 people , men , women and children , missing in Ireland at that time! And we all know that more have gone missing since 1998 , but have any Irish newspaper made this an issue in any of their articles?
No!
One has to ask oneself , why not!
It seems to an illiterate such as myself , Irish politicians and the establishment press put little value on the life of an Irish missing person! Indeed , they are quick to start heated arguments in the Dail ( Irish Parliament) when they discover that one of their peers (the elected representatives) has fiddled a few punts or Euros in the course of their climb to the slimey top of their political careers. There have been tribunals over beef , off-shore accounts , land developments in Dublin, the Charles Haughey affair , bank over-charging , the Michael Lowry affair , Ray Burke and several others . All of these tribunals of Inquiry or government backed committee inquiries were concerned with defrauding the state of monies in one form or another.
The Father Brendan Smith Affair and the huge numbers of Roman Catholic child abuse cases involving priests , have litterally forced the Irish Govermnent to hold public inquiries! It took the fall of the Albert Reynolds/Dick Spring , Fianna Fail/Labour coalition government in 1994 before they were forced to act and hold inquiries!
What national upheaval will spur the Irish government to make an issue of the numerous cases of Irish missing people?
Once again , we have to ask ourselves ; what is the value of an Irish missing Person?
I remember seeing Dublin politician Tony Gregory TD (member of parliament) in the Dail raising the matter of the missing Dublin boy , Phillip Cairns. The Dail debated (waffled as they say here ) for a period of time but nothing was done to find Phillip Cairns. It is the same with all of the other Irish missing persons!
Irish politicians and police, especially Garda (Police) Commissioner Byrne , waffle on , telling the public that they are following this lead and then that lead but at the end of the day , years after the person has been missing , you find that nothing at all has been done to resolve the missing persons case! They never find any missing person in Ireland!
If Irish politicians and the top Garda were football managers , they would have been replaced years ago! But no! In Ireland , laid back Ireland , the populace put up with blatant failures on behalf of the police force and the uninterested , couldn't careless attitudes taken by the politicians regarding missing persons!
For most people living in Ireland , the matter of missing persons does not affect them , simply because they are not related to any of the missing people! This is however a naive and senseless attitude to adapt simply because one cannot be sure who will be the next person , son , daughter , father , mother , sister or brother , to go missing! The caring Irish parent should immediately realise the significance of the escalating numbers of missing persons in Ireland! How can they be certain that one of their children will not also become a statistic in the (unofficial) figures for Irish missing?
NB. It should be noted that the Garda have never published figures , statistics for Irish missing in recent years.
I bet they can tell everyone the numbers of burglaries , murders , drug offences but they cant tell the public how many people are missing in Ireland! Also , their pals in the Dublin press ( much of it controlled by the "Bilderberger" , Tony O Reilly news corporation) will deliberately continually keep these missing statistics from the Irish people! If they were published , there could be a public outcry and people would see there is a terrible problem!
Up until 2000 , the Gards had listed only the names of 6 missing persons on their internet site! Since then , no doubt from pressure which The Missing Persons Issue Ireland web site has generated , they have begun to list more names and photos for Irish missing persons!
Two Irish politicians have , in recent years , confounded sceptics and critics, such as myself , of the Irish political scene , by challenging the establishment yes-men and lackies in the Fianna Fail party on very touchy matters!
Deputy Jim Higgins ,Fine Gael TD for Clare , first came to my notice when he put up a spirited challenge in the Dail to the Fianna Fail Minister for "Justice " , John O'Donoghue. O 'Donoghue was so taken aback that he was dumbstruck to Higgin's questions! It was clearly noticable! However , to my dismay , Jim Higgins was immediately removed from his post in the opposition Justice Dept of Fine Gael , in what the John Bruton clique called a cabinet re-shuffle!
We all know why Higgins was moved! It was because he asked the right questions! The "never speak its name " questions!
Higgins and the second maverick politician , Labour Party TD Brendan Howlin , seemed to team up with a concerted attack on the Fianna Fail Justice Dept and the Garda commissioner Byrne over the John Carthy shooting at Abbeylara in 2000. This dynamic duo spearheaded a group of politicians from the Labour Party, the Green Party and from Fine Gael which set up a Dail parliamentary investigative Committee to look into the John Carthy shooting in April 2000 by the Irish Police Emergency Response Unit . Brendan Howlin and Jim Higgins were not coy about mentioning other controversial cases , such as the Garda miscarriage of justice in the Dean Lyons affair where an innocent man was blamed for two murders he could not have committed!

The on-going McBrearty affair in Donegal , the Dean Lyons case and the failure of the Garda and Justice Depts to bring Mark Nash to court for the murders of the two women in the GrangeGorman murders in 1997 ( he admitted killing these women to the Garda after he was arrested for the murders of Carl and Catherine Doyle in 1997) , the shooting by Garda of John Carthy, the cover-up in the Urlingford drugs fiasco ( a group of RTE insurgents , intent on exposing Garda corruption, surprised the top brass in RTE by airing a dramatic program which exposed the Garda cover-up in the massive Urlingford drugs seizure in 1995) .

These cases are the best known of all those in which Garda actions have been brought into question but, there are other lesser known cases which get little or no mention anymore.
The JoJo Dollard case in 1995 , where a young Kilkenny woman went missing at Halloween , once got a lot of coverage in the press and on TV and radio . In the past few years , there has been nothing on the Jo Jo case on TV or radio. One has to wonder why the media has been silent on this case.
I know that the husband of Mary Phelan (JoJo Dollard's sister) spoke rashly on the Joe Duffy Radio talk show one afternoon , several years ago! This could have resulted in the shunning of Mary and Martin Phelan by the Irish press and media. This foolish outburst , which I personally heard one afternoon, could have hindered the fight for justice in the Jo Jo Dolard case!
I have great sympathy for Mary Phelan , whom I have met on several occasions in Kilkenny , however I dont believe she realises the overall picture regarding missing people . Does she realise that families in many other countries are experiencing the same resistance from police and the press regarding missing people? This genuine and earthy rural family has been subjected to every families worst nightmare, the loss of one so dear! Yet , as far as I am aware , even the dynamic duo of Higgins and Howlin have not championed the cause of the pitiful Dollards.
One has to ask why not!
But alas , even Jack the Giant killer can only handle so many giants!
Higgins and Howlin , both small of stature but big of heart , have done more in a few years for the cause of the Irish unempowered ,than the rest of the Dail motly crew .
Then we come to my case!
My case involves missing persons and my discovery of the identity of the abductors of many Irish missing persons!
My detractors will argue that I have no tangible evidence to prove my case, which I will admit up to a point. However , I have no doubts that my discoveries about an organised group in Ireland which is fronting as a respectable Christian sect , is one hundred percent correct!
I sent a statement to Austen Currie TD in November 1996 which outlined , albeit in a crude hand-written form , everything which I had experienced , discovered and other revelations which had come to light regarding other murders and missing persons in Ireland.

The only evidence which I have to support my information is in the form of audio tapes on which Christian cult members give witness to the sacrifice of the missing boy, Phillip Cairns. The cult member also describes why and how the police , press and media co-operate to stifle the investigations of any missing persons case which involves ritual murder (Satanic sacrifice).
My enemies and detractors can say that my story is only speculative but, it seems that other such cases , similar to mine , are coming to light all over the world.
Examples are ;
Belgium where witnesses said that the Belgium e'lite ( some claim royalty attended) were taking part in human sacrifice orgies .
In the Pacciani case in Italy where a group of wealthy and powerful employed the talents of an Italian agrarian odd-jobman , Pacciani , to supply them with human body parts for their personal "consumption".
There are yet more missing girls cases in France which have recently come into the news and tells a similar story to mine!

A lawyer called Monsieur Behr , who is acting for the family of one of the missing , claims that there is a concerted cover-up by French police and the judiciary in many of these cases in the Province of Burgundy.
These new French revelations which involves over 30 missing girls , could make the Belgium Marc Dutroux case seem insignificant in the months to come.
My case is;
I stand by my information which is being supported by other whistleblowers in other countries who tell of the crimes of wealthy people who use the police groups to cover-up abductions and murders of innocent girls and boys who are used by paedophiles and then murdered in satanic sacrifices.

Finally , I once again have to ask the Irish politicians and the Dublin press ;
" what is the value of an Irish missing person?"
How long will it be before the Irish politicians realise that people come first , not the fiddles of their parliamentary colleagues!
