Epidemic
of cockroaches in Ireland

The Oriental
cockroach - This the one, which has invaded
my house!
Hi, Im living on a new house
build site on the border of Laios/ Tipp . There are
several new houses near me on what was farm land. So
I cant blame foreigners bringing in exotic corn or
rices for what is an epidemic of cockroaches in these
fields! However corn was planted in this field before
I bought the site! My house is not yet completed but
Im living in a newly converted garage until my house
is finished! Cockroaches are only active in
temperatures above 14 centigrade (I think thats the
temperature!) They're inactive in winter UNLESS they
have already set up in your house the previous
summer! Last summer I lived a nightmare!
Girls will get nightmares
about this! Ill tell you!
When I built the converted
garage from new in 2006, I left a small gap between
the waist pipe and the wall cavity, which means that
cockroaches got in from the foundations up the
cavity, in through the waist pipe gap and into my
kitchen under the sink! My kitchen/ come bedsit type
room , became a target for cockroaches through 2007.
Do you know that cockroaches make a calling noise,
which sounds like a corncrake call from a distance!
When I first heard this noise during darkness I
genuinely thought it was a corncrake calling outside
in the nearby fields! In the following days and weeks
I began to notice numerous black beetles on the floor
of my living room/kitchen. You see, I just thought
these were ordinary harmless black beetles, like stag
beetles etc. They are hamless and dont carry disease
, unlike cockroaches! They are dangerous to your
health! I began killing dozens of these
"beetles" until it finally dawned on me,
these were not ordinary black beetles! It got so bad
that I woke in in the morning and cockroaches were
crawling up my walls near my bed; some I noticed
trying to get onto my food table and then I started
to get frantic! I became terrified of these
disgusting creatures! One night while half sleeping
in bed , I felt something drop from the curtains
above my head above my bed, onto my face! I woke up
in terror , switched on the light, and it was one of
these bastards and I killed it as if my life was in
danger! Another night I woke up to hear a constant
scraping like noise. I put the light on and another
of these cunts was trying to climb up the metal walls
of my sink! That was the last straw! Next morning I
started to move all the furniture and bed out of my
kitchen/living room. I looked in every corner and
nook under my sink and realised that most cockroaches
I found were under or around my sink! I realised
these bastards were getting in from outside, so I
examed every possible entry into the room. I finally
noticed the gap between the sink waist pipe and wall
cavity. I got plastic sealer from a window seal gun
and pumped the mastic into the gap and then painted
over the gap! The cockroaches became fewer in numbers
as I killed them off and 2007 ended cockroach free!
However, 2008 saw the return of the invaders! Not in
large numbers but a steady stream of single or two
attackers once a night over this wet summer, with the
warm and wet temperatures, which is ideal for these
cunts to thrive! Something else I have discovered!
Has anyone seen the film Jerimiah Johnson? That was
the story of a man who withdrew to the wilderness of
the Rocky Mountains, where he lived alone in the
wildreness amongst the bears and wolves! He made
enemies of local indians when he inadvertantly
desecrated the indian burial grounds! Over the coming
years , individual indians , alone, (warriors) came
to kill Johnson but he killed them all!
Im the new Jerimiah Johnson!
Theyve been coming individually every night during
this summer! Until recently I wondered how they could
get in because I sealed up every opening I could
think of! Then one night I heard a sound I had
noticed many times before whilst I slept in bed! It
was like the sound of a tiny pebble falling onto my
floor which is covered in lino! Then just last week
it dawned on me, they are getting in through my open
window, which I need to keep open for oxygen. I
jumped out of bed and there under the window against
the wall was one of the black bastards! I killed him
as if he was a contagion! So I know how they are
getting in but I cant close the window at night
because I need fresh air! So I had a delema! I again
looked under the sink for cockroaches and I killed
everyone I saw! After I killed all cockroaches I went
to bed thinking they were all dead! During the night
I heard that sound again , craik , craik, coming from
under the sink! I jumped up but no cockroach could I
find. I went to bed again , a while later , craik ,
craik. from under the sink! I jumped up again but no
cockroach could I find! I finally think I have
figured out what is going on! There is a female or a
queen cockroach in my room , which must have got in
maybe in 2007 and is still here! The craik calling is
the female calling the males and they come when they
are called one after the other! Last night I found
two in the morning just at the bottom where the door
opens under the sink! They sat side by side and didnt
move when datylight shone on them . They died where
they stood! It has occured to me that they were
sitting near or outside the females hiding place in
some crack or crany at the bottom of the sink wooden
frame! My mission now is to kill the queen/female! Im
going to get insecticide and spray it into every
crany I can find under the sink. Im gona kill this
filthy pig!
NB: Cockroaches need water
to survive, so if you have a problem with them, dry
up all water in the infected area!
